On this Labor Day 2026, we celebrate the dedicated efforts of working men and women across this country who helped shaped our nation’s economy.
For Christians, the act of “work” has an even deeper meaning.
A wise person once said, “all Christians have the same Employer, they just have different tasks.”
23 Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord and not for people, 24 knowing that it is from the Lord that you will receive the reward of the inheritance. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve. – Colossians 3:23-24, (NASB).1
