Life’s Red Sea Moments

Trusting God through Life’s Red Sea Moments

Life's Red Sea Moments

Have you ever experienced a “Red Sea Moment”?

How about too many to count?

Think of a difficult time in your life.

Perhaps you’re going through something right now.

Does it feel hopeless – like there’s no way out?

Life’s Red Sea moments are very real, and often painful (emotionally and/or physically).

Our human nature wants, whatever it is, “gone.”

I look back at some of the major challenges that my husband and I have faced – some were so surreal that it’s hard to believe we made it through.

But we did . . . through God’s providence and in His timing.

Sometimes, the outcomes weren’t what we were hoping for.

As Christians trusting God, we  were never promised that He will take us out of our difficult situations.

But, He will take us through them.

Never forget – you are not alone.

Keep your eyes on Him, and trust where He leads.

Isaiah 43:2

Seeing God’s Hand in Life’s Red Sea Moments

God allows our difficulties, but He doesn’t abandon us in the midst of them.

Never forget that He loved us so much that He sent His only Son to pave the way to our eternal salvation.

Even though we may not understand the “why’s”, God makes a way and will lead us through the tumultuous waters in life.

May I Not Forget

Lord, may I never forget,
the favors You’ve granted me
or how You made a path
across my very own Red Sea.

May my love for You,
keep me humble all my days
may I remember to follow
and to walk in all Your ways.

Lord, may I never complain,
nor forget Your mighty deeds
may I always remember
it’s You who supplies my needs.

May my praise rise each day,
and lay upon my lips at night
may I not forget Your counsel
nor the pillars of Your saving light.

Lord, may I never forget . . .
the wondrous works of Your hand
nor how You made for me a path
leading to the promised land!

Psalm 106:13-14

They soon forgat his works;
they waited not for his counsel:
But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness,
and tempted Godin the desert.”
