You know what I’m looking forward to?
America, I’m excited about celebrating Easter 2020.
I miss church too, but it’s never been entirely about the building.
God sees the praise that is in our hearts.
He will hear us worshiping Him, even though we’re spending Easter 2020 at home.
So gather your families around your laptop, or whatever device you use, and stream a live Easter service right into your home.
Our location doesn’t matter this year.
Nothing can stop us!
No virus, no cancellations, and no social distancing can prevent us from proclaiming our joy about our Risen Savior.
He Is Risen! He Is Risen Indeed!
The Evil One will do everything he can to distract us from this most Holy Week.
What a great coup that would be, if he could turn our eyes away from Christ’s glorious Resurrection, into yet another day of worry, doubt and fear.
Don’t let Satan in.
Christ’s Resurrection, a historical fact, is the greatest, most life-affirming, evidence of the infallible truth of God’s Word.
Even though we are wretched sinners, God loved us so much that He sent us His beloved Son so that we can be reconciled to Him.
Jesus in the tomb – can you imagine His first breath when He rose?
